Edward Howard
Author of One Breath Leadership, which launched globally in June 2026, and the founder of a leadership system built on a simple premise: the techniques that calm a Zen monk and the techniques that should calm a stressed executive turn out to be the same techniques, just with better translation for the real world.
I spent 20 years inside global investment banks, rising to Regional Head of Compliance, in a world defined by pressure, speed, and constant decision-making under uncertainty. I was outwardly successful and quietly running on empty. Alongside that career, I spent 30 years training in the Zen tradition, including time living in Japan and formal ordination, and eventually had to ask why decades of serious practice weren't translating into daily calm under pressure. The answer was that most meditation practices were built for monasteries, not trading floors, and needed to be stripped down and rebuilt for people who don't have the luxury of a quiet mountain.
