I’m Cody Johnston, known as The Weird Canadian — a creator, technologist, and music artist exploring the space where technology, creativity, identity, and reinvention collide.

After spending over a decade building large-scale systems inside government and Fortune 500 environments, I stepped away from the machinery to start translating it — turning complex systems and lived experience into stories people can actually feel.

Through content, conversation, and now original music, I explore Canadian identity, burnout, creativity, and what it means to build a meaningful life outside polished narratives and corporate lanes.

I don’t show up with answers — I show up with curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to sit in the uncomfortable stuff long enough to make it useful.
